OREANDA-NEWS. On June 22, 2009 Western Union, one of the global leaders in money transfer without opening banking account, launched new wide-scale action titled "Gift the Joy to Children", dedicated to International Child Protection Day. The initiative is realized in cooperation with partner banks of Western Union – CenterCredit Bank in Kazakhstan and Kapitabank in Uzbekistan and it will be held till 5 July 2009.

For participation at the action, it is necessary to transfer money from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan and at the same time, sender should use one of the branches of CenterCredit Bank in Kazakhstan and receiver should apply to any branch of Kapitalbank. Sender of remittance will have an opportunity to share joy to their children with Western Union gifts.

Main gift for children will become free tickets to the most popular children rehabilitation camp in Uzbekistan - Semurg. Besides, senders of remittances from Kazakhstan can present to their children bicycles, rucksacks, desk games and school equipment.

With this initiative Western Union realizes one of its main principles: "You send more than ordinary money". "Each year, thousand people use services of Western Union, helping their relatives and friends. We want to express gratitude to our clients for their immutable trust and prepared gifts for their children", Jalil Haydarov, Western Union regional director on Central Asian states and Azerbaijan said.
