OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 June 2009 was announced, that Belarus’ imports of beer increased 2.7% on the year in January-April to 3.775 million decaliters, amounting to USD 19.101 million, down 15%, according to customs statistics.

Russian beer imports went down 11.5% on the year in January-April to 2.399 million decaliters worth USD 13.214 million, down 26.9%, while Ukrainian beer imports rose 44.1% to 1.353 million decaliters to the amount of USD 5.33 million, up 38.3%.

Imports from Germany were at 3,563 decaliters, down 38.1%, worth USD 104,400, down 20%, and from the Czech Republic 13,065 decaliters, down 4.9%, worth USD 276,300, up 12.6%.
