OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 June 2009 was announced, that state-owned Trading House with Belgospischeprom on July 9 will open a competitive tender to procure an elevator for malt barley with a capacity of 100,000 tonnes worth 45 billion Belarusian rubles (Br), a source in the company told.

The purchase will be financed by OAO Belsolod and loans, including foreign credit lines, which are expected to cover at least 85% of equipment cost.

Belgospischeprom invites producers, dealers and first importers to present their bids by July 8.

Bidders are expected to offer installation and startup services and provide fixed prices. Non-residents will be paid in euros or Russian rubles, and residents of Belarus, in Belarusian rubles.

Equipment will have to be supplied by October.

Belsolod was established in 1989 and transformed into a joint stock company in 1996. Its malt output increased 8.4% on the year in January-April to 29,936 tonnes.
