OREANDA-NEWS. On June 24, 2009 the Omsk Arbitration Court upheld the decision of the Omsk Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (OFAS Russia) of 17th February 2009 that "Gazpromneft'-Omsk" OJSC violated Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition", reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The company violated the law by fixing economically and technologically unjustified retail prices for oil products in 2007 and the first 9 months of 2008 года on the retail markets of motor petrol and diesel fuel in the Omsk region.

Upon comprehensive and objective examination of the factual circumstances and case materials, the Court supported the position taken by the Omsk OFAS Russia.
