OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 June 2009 was announced, that Taymir (NORD STAR trademark) airlines starts operations from Domodedovo airport. The airline launched first flight to Norilsk, and a flight to Krasnoyarsk on June 21st.

The flight frequency to Norilsk will be 5 times a week, departing from Moscow at 21:50, arriving at 06:00 in Norilsk. The return flight departs at 10:00 arriving in Moscow at 10:15*.

The Krasnoyarsk service shall be operated daily. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays the flight departs from Domodedovo at 20:50 arriving at 05:20. On Fridays and Saturdays the departure time will be 22:30, arriving at Krasnoyarsk at 08:00. The return flight will depart Monday – Friday at 10:30 arriving at Domodedovo at 11:30. On Saturdays and Sundays departure to Moscow is at 08:30, arrival at 09:20.**

NORD STAR was launched for flight operations in a record 7 months. The new brand was created, on the base of the already existing “Taymir” airlines. With the coming of a new carrier the residents of the Norilsk Industrial District shall be offered a cost-efficient and quality flight.

Flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 NG (New Generation) aircraft. The aircraft are on lease and have gone through full MRO cycle, are in a great condition and in compliance with the highest international standards.
