OREANDA-NEWS. On 29 June 2009 was announced, that Windrose and Moscow International Airport Domodedovo presented new flight on MoscowLvov - Moscow destination and new Embraer E-Jet-195 aircraft on which the flight will be operated. The brand new liner is quite unique – its design features an image of the Cathedral of St. Sofia of Kiev.

Director of WINDROSE, Mr. Kamenchuk, noted: “the idea to feature the Sofia of Kiev on the aircraft appeared when we discussed the project with artist Svetlana Lopukhova that developed the design.” “We decided to add a touch of the beauty of Ukrainian culture to this aircraft. This is how the design came to feature a historical monument of the Ukraine.”

The liner will start operations on the LvovMoscowLvov destination starting from June 25th. This destination is new in the route network of both airline and airport. Departure from Domodedovo is scheduled at 10:45, arriving at 11:50 in Lvov, return flight at 07:15 arriving at 10:00 in Moscow.
