OREANDA-NEWS. On 29 June 2009 was announced, that Windrose and Moscow International Airport Domodedovo presented new flight on Moscow – Lvov - Moscow destination and new Embraer E-Jet-195 aircraft on which the flight will be operated. The brand new liner is quite unique – its design features an image of the Cathedral of St. Sofia of Kiev.

Director of WINDROSE, Mr. Kamenchuk, noted: “the idea to feature the Sofia of Kiev on the aircraft appeared when we discussed the project with artist Svetlana Lopukhova that developed the design.” “We decided to add a touch of the beauty of Ukrainian culture to this aircraft. This is how the design came to feature a historical monument of the Ukraine.”

The liner will start operations on the Lvov – Moscow – Lvov destination starting from June 25th. This destination is new in the route network of both airline and airport. Departure from Domodedovo is scheduled at 10:45, arriving at 11:50 in Lvov, return flight at 07:15 arriving at 10:00 in Moscow.
