OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2009. The Khakassia Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (OFAS Russia) heard an antimonopoly case against an individual entrepreneur Yury Kistanov, and found that Mr Kistanov violated Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition", reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

In December 2008, the entrepreneur, who had dominant position on the Abaza market, fixed monopolistically high price for liquified gas, selling gas at his petrol- and gas station at 14 Rubles per liter, in contrast to the prices for liquified gas at petrol- and gas stations in Abakan, where the price was lower by 2.5 - 3 Rubles.

Having investigated the case, the Commission of the Khakassia OFAS Russia issued a determination to the individual entrepreneur on inadmissibility of further establishing monopolistically high price on the market of selling liquefied gas in Abaz.
