OREANDA-NEWS. On 08 July 2009 was announced, that a meeting of JSC Irkutskenergo's Board of Directors was held in Moscow. It considered the issues of the Company's activities. Based on the results of the meeting, the following decisions were made:

- To elect Stanislav Yurevich Svetlitskiy (Deputy Minister for Energy Industry of the Russian Federation) to the position of Chairman of JSC Irkutskenergo's Board of Directors;

- To elect Vladimir Alekseevich Kiryukhin (Director for Authorities and Public Organizations Relations, En + Group) to the position of Deputy Chairman of JSC Irkutskenergo's Board of Directors;

- To appoint Alexander Sergeevich Shmagelsky (Director of the Moscow Representative Office of JSC Irkutskenergo) to the position of Secretary of JSC Irkutskenergo's Board of Directors;

- To approve completion of JSC Irkutskenergo’s inter-related transactions for purchase of shares of Closed Joint-Stock Company "Resursservisholding". The concept of purchase by Irkutsk joint-stock company (JSC Irkutskenergo) of 100% stake in the CJSC "Resursservisholding’s" authorized capital was approved at the meeting of JSC Irkutskenergo's Board of Directors on 6 February 2009.

Information: JSC Irkutskenergo is Siberia’s largest power company and one of Russia’s largest power companies operating thermal and hydroelectric stations and thermal networks. The installed capacity of the company's electricity stations is 12.9GW (the installed capacity of hydroelectric stations being over 9 GW). The state owns 40% of JSC Irkutskenergo’s shares; Russia’s largest independent company EuroSibEnergo manages a large block of the company's shares in the interests of En+ Group.
