OREANDA-NEWS. On July 06, 2009 the Management of AsiaUniversalBank met with former employees of Kyrgyzpromstroibank. They were cordially welcomed and told the good nice news - starting from July 2009 retired employees will get a monthly increase in their pension of 1000 soms, reported the press-centre of AsiaUniversalBank.

These pensioners include all former employees of Kyrgyzpromstroibank and AsiaUniversalBank who retired after October 1992 (the date when Kyrgyzpromstroibank was privatized). Currently there are 61 pensioners, living not only in Bishkek city but throughout the country.

This pension increase will be paid out of AsiaUniversalBank’s own funds. The “Jany Aziya” Non-governmental pension fund will support these pensioners and, as a bonus, offer them a number of different savings programs, for example investing in high-liquid state securities which are guaranteed and generate interest income.

“Many of you probably already know that in November 2008 an important event took place - Kyrgyzpromstroibank merged with AsiaUniversalBank. AUB as a united bank is now the biggest in the country with the largest branch network. Bearing in mind the huge efforts and energy you devoted to our common business as well as your great contribution to the Bank’s success, the Management made a decision – to give each of you a personal increase in your pension,” said Nurdin Abdrazakov, the CEO of OJSC “AsiaUniversalBank”, as he greeted the assembled pensioners.

At the meeting the pensioners were handed certificates confirming their entitlement to an increase in their pension. After the meeting the management hosted a dinner for the guests in an office of the former Kyrgyzpromstroibank. At dinner, the pensioners reminisced about their work at the old Bank, told stories about past days, their achievements and shared their latest news.
