OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 July 2009 was announced, that Belarus’ imports of beer increased 5% on the year in January-May to 5.186 million decaliters, amounting to USD 26.654 million, down 11.8%, according to customs statistics.

Russian beer imports went down 6.7% on the year in January-May to 3.308 million decaliters worth USD 18.594 million, down 22.3%, while Ukrainian beer imports rose 35.7% to 1.847 million decaliters to the amount of USD 7.283 million, up 29.4%.

Imports from the Czech Republic reached 17,627 decaliters, down 2.5%, worth USD 378,000, up 17.4%.
