OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2009. The Udmurtia OFAS Russia issued resolutions on imposing turnover fines upon "LUKOIL-Permnefteproduct" Ltd., "ASPEK-Nefteproduct" Ltd. and "AZS-Service" Ltd. for concerted actions, that restricted competition and are forbidden by the antimonopoly legislation of the Russian Federation, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

"LUKOIL-Permnefteproduct" Ltd. was fined 10,341,940 Rubles, "ASPEK-Nefteproduct" Ltd. - 19,764, 313 Rubles, and "AZS-Service" Ltd. - 6,944,160 Rubles.

Under Article 14.32 of the Code on Administrative Violations, violating the antimonopoly legislation by legal entities is punishable by an administrative fine: 1 - 15% of the proceeds gained by the violator from selling goods (works, services) on the market where the violation was committed.

On 21st May 2009, the Commission of the Udmurtia OFAS Russia found that "LUKOIL-Permnefteproduct" Ltd., "ASPEK-Nefteproduct" Ltd. and "AZS-Service" Ltd. violated Part 1 Article 11 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition". The companies violated the law by engaging in concerted actions from 1st August to 1st January 2009, which resulted in fixing (maintaining) retail prices for motor petrol (grades Аi-92 and Аi-95) in Izhevsk.
