OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2009. RF citizens who wish to go to Cyprus may visit any of the offices of UNIASTRUM BANK and submit an application for a pro-visa. The applicant should not necessarily be the Bank’s client, reported the press-centre of UNIASTRUM BANK.

The service is provided free of charge and is limited to one-time entry. One person may apply for visas for several people but he/she should bring the passports of all the applicants. Upon arrival in Cyprus, the person who obtained a pro-visa, is given automatically the standard tourist visa. The visa is given free of charge.

This service was introduced in Moscow and St. Petersburg on July 01, 2009, and since July 10 it has been offered in all the 220 outlets of UNIASTRUM BANK.

A pro-visa is given two business days after receipt of the application.

“We hope this service will attract a lot of attention on behalf of the Russian citizens who traditionally go on holidays in summer, Chairman of the Management Board Pavel Neumyvakin stated. It is not only simplifies the visa obtaining procedure but makes it more affordable. Besides the convenience it offers to our clients, this program will help develop and strengthen the Russian and Cypriot diplomatic partnership and contribute to development of close economic relations between our countries”.
