OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2009. The Antimonopoly Service identified antimonopoly violations in adopting some acts, whose implementation leads to restricting competition on the market of alcohol products raised. In particular, regional authorities passed the acts introducing additional inspection of the quality of alcoholic products distributed in the Krasnodar region. In course of the case investigation, the authorities amended the above provisions. In this connection, and based on Article of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition", the Antimonopoly Service terminated the proceedings against the Krasnodar regional authority and the Department for Consumer Sphere and Alcohol Market Regulation of the Krasnodar region.
