OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2009. Ukrainskiy Retail (part of SCM Group) keeps on developing Brusnytsya trade chain, reported the press-centre of SCM.

The company signed a lease agreement with Markoprod, which owns four trade facilities in Mariupol (Donetsk region). They operated under Nash Krai trademark before.

Thus, four new shops with general area of 2,500 sqm will join Brusnytsya in mid-August.

"By increasing the number of stores under Brusnytsya brand, we are making continued and gradual progress in achieving our primary strategic goal: to be the biggest retail networks in the Eastern Ukraine", said Aleksey Hessen, CEO of Ukrainskyi Retail.

"Opening four new trade outlets means not only growth and expansion of our business and additional comfort for Mariupol citizens. It means also over 100 new jobs, which is especially important today in the period of the global crisis", added Mr Hessen.

Today the Brusnytsya chain includes 45 stores in Donetsk and Donetsk oblast, as well as in Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk. Trade facilities operate in "corner shop" format.

SCM Group controls 100% of the authorized stock of the company.
