OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2009. Atomenergoproekt OJSC (Moscow), 100% subsidiary of Atomenergoprom OJSC, has opened a representation in the Czech Republic (Prague). This is the company’s second office abroad. The first representation was opened in Bulgaria (Sofia) on Apr 8 2009.

Yevgeny Vald has been appointed as head of the representation.

Relevant changes to the charter of Atomenergoproekt OJSC were included in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities of the Russian Federation on Mar 19 2009. On July 8 the Municipal Court of Prague registered the representation of Atomenergoproekt OJSC in the Czech Republic.

The office is supposed to contribute to the development of business ties between Atomenergoproekt and Czech organizations. Particularly, it will help the Russian company to use the engineering capacities of Czech companies and the experience of operation of WWER technologies.

The office is also supposed to enhance the efficiency of the existing contracts for the design supervision of the operation of the two reactors of Temelin NPP and the four units of Dukovany NPP.
