OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2009. Russia will allocate over 120bln RUR for the development of nuclear power technologies in 2010–2012, President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said in Sarov July 22 2009.

While speaking at a guest meeting of the Committee on Modernization and Technological Development of Economy, Medvedev said that one of the key national tasks was to create favorable conditions for research and development in the field of physics.

“For this purpose, the Government has drafted a mid-term federal target program “Nuclear Power Technologies of New Generation”,” Medvedev said.

He pointed out that the financing of this program will be started next year.

“In 2010–20122 this program will receive over 120bln RUR,” Medvedev said.
