OREANDA-NEWS. Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) informs that from July 28, 2009 Citybank Kazakhstan (Almaty) secedes the Agreement on Kazakhstan Inter-bank Indicator KazPrime Forming of March 27, 2007 (hereinafter - the Agreement), reported the press-centre of KASE.

Citybank Kazakhstan made this decision due to temporary inability to meet the Agreement conditions.

KazPrime indicator reflects an average value of money (Kazakhstan tenge) offering rates on the Kazakhstan inter-bank market deposits among banks with the best for Kazakhstan credit quality. KASE calculates the index daily based on quotes submitted by the Agreement participants to the exchange trading system from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. ALT.

Each quote includes the rate of money raising and offering on one of the Agreement participants' deposit, and money raising and offering volumes. The quote minimum volume is KZT150 m.

At present the Agreement on Kazakhstan Inter-bank Indicator KazPrime Forming includes the following banks: ATFBank, Kazkommertsbank, Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan, Citybank Kazakhstan, BTA Bank, SB HSBC Bank Kazakhstan, Subsidiary Bank RBS (Kazakhstan).
