OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 July 2009 was announced, that according to the city administration, the Moscow delegation to go to the capital of Belarus will be headed by Mayor Yuri Luzhkov.

It will also include Vladimir Resin, head of Integrated Body for Urban Design Policy and Development of Moscow, Vasily Kichedzhi, head of Moscow’s Department for Transport, Sergey Khudyakov, head of Moscow’s Department for Culture, and Mikhail Solomentsev, chairman of Moscow’s Committee for Interregional Relations and National Policy.

The total amount of funds invested in the project development is 536 million roubles (~USD 17.2 million).

The contractors from Belarus were involved in the construction of House of Moscow that was erected with the use of the Byelorussian materials and frames.

Now there is a four-storey building on the site of roughly 0.7 hectares with the area of 6,070 square metres and underground parking for 67 vehicles. Besides the car park, the substructure will contain a Russian cuisine restaurant as well as engineering and utility services rooms. There will be a cinema and concert hall for 262 guests, a presidium room, a cafe, a book and souvenir store on the ground floor of the structure. Two wings of House of Moscow will be occupied by offices, studios, a mini-hotel, a library, a conference room and administrative facilities.
