OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 July 2009 was announced, that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) plans to provide USD 250bn to its member countries via distribution of Special Drawing Rights (SDR). As a result each IMF member will increase its share in the fund by 74.13%. The final decision on funds provision will be made on 7 August 2009. Correspondingly Ukraine will receive around USD 1.59bn.

In the case the decision is approved Millennium Capital expects the revaluation of the national currencies of the member countries, including Ukraine. This is related to the increase of the international reserves of the countries, which enable them to redeem their external debt thus reducing the devaluation pressure. This also increased the probability of Ukraine to receive the third and fourth tranches of the IMF loan in August and November 2009, respectively.

Millennium Capital is an integrated financial services provider. Established in 2000 by a group of professionals with solid background in securities and corporate finance, Millennium Capital is now one of the major investment banking institutions.
