OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 July 2009 was announced, that PAVA, the largest grain processor East of Urals, maintains steady partnerships with Afghan companies, shipping wheat flour Zhitnitsa to the Republic. The neighbouring country became one of the first partners who tested the innovative sort of flour in production of baked goods. The milling fraction and its quality parameters proved ideal for baking national breads.

Since end-2008, Afghan companies have become long-standing consumers of the new flour. Recently, PAVA completed shipping another consignment of Zhitnitsa, exceeding 600 tonnes.

To recap, Altay grain processor PAVA introduced wheat flour Zhitnitsa on the market in autumn, 2008. It differs from traditional grades by unique characteristics – high content of easily digested protein, vitamins and mineral substances. It is perfect for production of brown bread and long loaves, favoured by Russian customers.
