On 28 July 2009 JSC SITRONICS (SITRONICS or the “Group”) (LSE: SITR), a leading provider of telecommunications, information technology and microelectronic solutions in Russia and the CIS, with a growing presence in other EEMEA emerging markets, announced that Sergey Boyev, Vice President and Head of 'High Technologies and Industry' Operating Unit of Sistema, was elected Chairman of SITRONICS’ Board of Directors at a Board meeting held on July 27, 2009. Sergey Boyev has replaced in this position Mr. Yuval Almog.

Sergey Boyev was born in 1953 in Moscow. He was elected a Non-Executive Member of SITRONICS’ Board of Directors on March 24, 2009. Mr. Boyev has been serving as Vice President and Head of 'High Technologies and Industry' Operating Unit of Sistema since February 2008. [From 2000 to 2008], Sergey Boyev held the position of General Director and a Member of the Board of Directors of Concern RTI Systems. From 1971 to 1999, Sergey Boyev worked at the A. L. Mints Radio-Technology Institute, where he started as a junior engineer and worked his way up to become the Institute’s General Director. Sergey Boyev graduated from All Union Correspondence Legal Institute in 1978, and from the Moscow Ordzhonikidze Institute of Management in 1984. Mr. Boyev also completed the coursework of the State Plan of the USSR in 1988.
