OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 July 2009 was announced, that a multipurpose retail and entertainment centre is to be erected in Brateevo Township within southern Moscow.

According to a source from City Hall, the relevant order to hold an auction for the right to take a site intended for this project on lease has been signed by Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov.

The official added that the total area of the site on Borisovskie Prudy Street allocated for the development of the mixed-use centre was 1.1475 hectares.

“The ultimate area of the structure to be built will be 21,696 square metres, including the 11,404-square-metre superstructure and the 10,292-square-metre substructure. A car park for 273 vehicles will be put up as well,” the source noted.

The project is scheduled to be implemented in 3 years.
