OREANDA-NEWS. On July 27, 2009 This is to inform that Rietumu Bank’s fully-owned subsidiary RB Asset Management has started a subscription to the new investment product – Energy-Grains Bull capital-protected structures notes. The Bank guarantees to pay back an initial investment amount as well as a minimum annual return of 2% to customers. In case of favourable market conditions, the note’s return can reach from 7-10% per annum and above, reported the press-centre of Rietumu Bank.

Investment strategy is based on our forecast that natural gas and rough rice are considerably undervalued and its’ price should rise. Since the beginning of 2008, natural gas prices have increased significantly and then fallen sharply – by more than 70% from the maximum reached earlier. In our opinion, this kind of decrease has no fundamental explanation and results from market speculations. Rice, in turn, is the most attractive out of all grain assets at present – rice prices have fallen by around 50% below the historical maximum reached in April 2008 and the asset is very likely to rise.

Diversification of your investments between two different segments – energy and commodities markets – increases your potential gains. Energy-Grains Bull notes will perfectly suit companies and private individuals, who own euro assets and aim for increased returns with the lowest possible risk.

The subscription period to Energy-Grains Bull notes is held until 3 August 2009. The notes’ duration – 11 months, starting from 3 August 2009 to 25 June 2010. The minimum investment amount (the price of one note) equals EUR 100 000.
