OREANDA-NEWS. August 03, 2009. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko is convinced the third tranche of an IMF loan in the amount of USD 3.3 billion given to Ukraine will enable to reinforce the situation within the country. She announced on opening today’s session of the Government.

“Yesterday a significant event for Ukraine happened and observing gradual invigoration of economics we will make all steps in filling the budget, in ensuring social expenses from the budget with more ease,” Yulia Tymoshenko emphasized. According to Yulia Tymoshenko, by the end of week the credit money from IMF will get into the State Budget of Ukraine. “I want to say, these are, in fact, the most effective and the cheapest funds in the world as yearly interest amounts around 4%,” the Head of Government underlined.

Moreover, Yulia Tymoshenko is assured allocation of IMF funds proves implementation of Governmental anti-crisis program elaborated by the Government in synergy with IMF specialists. The Prime Minister thanked to the Finance Ministry, advisors, IMF mission in Ukraine and the Board of Governors of the Fund for the work: “The whole team has been working qualitatively – as the result has been achieved”.
