OREANDA-NEWS. August 04, 2009. By Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) Council was approved the KASE internal document "Listing Rules" (Rules) new version, reported the press-centre of KASE.

Rules new version was developed based on this document version in force to:

- legally ensure the upcoming merger of official lists of the KASE Main Trading Floor (MTF KASE) and the Special Trading Floor of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty (STF RFCA); Rules new version stipulates single procedures concerning securities listing, the official list  category (subcategory) change, securities delisting, and the single terms of securities presence in the official list as well as sanctions for non-fulfillment by admittance initiatorsа of information disclosure related obligations, set forth by Rules, without the split to MTF KASE or STF RFCA;

- bring Rules into line with the legislation in force;

- summarize the best practices, gained during application of Rules in force, and solution of often emerging issues concerning the listing procedure;

- development of Rules new version as the this document version in force underwent multiple corrections, which resulted in the need in the document structure change.

Rules in new version are universal as they do not describe the official list structure and listing requirements, established by legal acts of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations (AFS) and the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation of Activities of Regional Financial Center of Almaty, but give references to such legal acts.

In addition, Rules in new version describe situations unregulated in the version in force. In particular, this relates to the Listing Commission decisions making, terms of applications acceptance from admittance initiators for consideration, transfer of securities from one official list category (subcategory) to another, responsibility for untimely payment of the entry and the first annual listing fees, and time of opening trades in securities, included to the official list.

Rules in new version were submitted to AFS for approval and will be given effect from September 1, 2009, if agreed on by this time.
