In accordance with the recent Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan the contract for the purchase of three aircrafts Boeing-737-700 was concluded with the Boeing Company (USA), reported the Official website turkmenistan.gov.tm.

According to Turkmenhowayollary State National Service, Boeing-737-700 is comfortable and economy. It seats 149 passengers in a two class cabin. The distance of flight is almost 5,000 km and its cruising speed is 900 km/h.

The projects on construction of the new airport in Turkmenbashi, construction of the supermodern international airport and the long-term programme on replenishment of the aircraft fleet of the national airlines are aimed at fulfilling these tasks.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that the Government would continue to but modern aviation machines that will fly along domestic routes and expand the geography of international routes including passenger and freight transportation.

At the request of Turkmenistan the plants of the American giant of aircraft construction will build several passenger planes that ensure the high level of flight safety and comfort.
