OREANDA-NEWS. August 10, 2009. Today, in the age of innovations and high technologies that modern Turkmenistan relies on to achieve the social, economic and cultural progress the need for training highly qualified specialists in this strategic field is placed in the forefront. This task is to be fulfilled by the Turkmen State Energy Institute where the new department – Industrial Electronics will be opened in the new academic year, reported the Official website turkmenistan.gov.tm.

The Institute will train engineers – specialists in design, fettling, maintenance of electronic equipment that is actively used in various sectors of the national economy – power industry and industrial production, communication and telecommunications, science, education, medicine, banking sectors and others. Future graduates of the new department will be able to deal with a wide range of industrial and scientific issues.

At the Institute students will study higher mathematics, physics, computer science, the basics of cybernetics, electrical engineering and other core disciplines, acquire knowledge in workflow and product automation, operation of electronic systems, design of various devices, advanced computer and information technologies. In addition, the general subjects are introduced in the timetable. An integral part of the studies will be laboratory experiments. Thus, the incentives to encourage and develop high-school science including applied research in this important area will be created.

In a word, the vast opportunities to acquire complex knowledge accumulated by mankind in the field of electronics are opened up for young people who will study at the new department – Industrial Electronics. It is the present and future of the society. Therefore, the prospects for practical use of the knowledge and professional skill acquired are great. Scientific and technical advances are actively implemented in all spheres of human life and activities, it is impossible to imagine our everyday life without these ‘smart machines’. Therefore, the decision to open the new department at the Turkmen State Energy Institute was another important step to implement the education reform initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. This year, 14 first-year students will start to study the basics of electronics.
