15 per cent of shares belong to individuals, the rest 3 per cent – to the “Energbank” and Sfinx Impex company. It was said the authorized capital of the Donaris Group had been raised to 13.7 million leis from 6.9 million leis with coming of a new shareholder that had invested 500 thousand euros into the company.

The investor will invest another 500 thousand euros by the end of the year to raise the authorized capital (to 22 million leis) and 300 thousand euros – to balance the company’s reserves. Speaking of the development, Teodor Ungureanu said the company’s head office had moved into a new building on August 31 street, 108. He emphasized that 140 sales offices with 2,000 people engaged currently work in the Donaris Group network covering all Moldova’s regions. He also said the company’s policy didn’t stipulate purchase of real estate – all offices Donaris Group works in, including the head one are the rented buildings.

The chairman of the Donaris Group Administrative Board Christian Brandstetter said Vienna Insuarance Management was a private fund with the 20 million euros annual turnover. It is a managing company owning four insurance companies in Bosnia, Belarus, Moldova and Switzerland. Purchase of the insurance companies in Georgia and Azerbaijan is among its interest.

Teodor Ungureanu emphasized that the Vienna Insuarance Management’s policy consists in bringing the purchased insurance company to the standards of the Vienna Insuarance Group and then integrating the purchased insurer into this group, the annual turnover of which totals about 8-9 billion euros. In his opinion, it may happen within two-three years with the Donaris Group.
