OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2009. UAC will present a number of new aircraft at the ninth International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2009 that will be held in Zhukovsky from August 18 to 23. New multifunctional 4++ generation fighters – Su-35 and MiG-35, Yak-130 combat trainer aircraft and the SSJ-100 regional passenger jet will be demonstrated on the ground and in the air, reported the press-centre of UAC.

Also, a number of serial production aircraft ready for service will be presented: An-148-100B – the first serially produced in Russia regional jet, Il-96-400T cargo aircraft and Tu-204-300A with VIP interiors, reported the press-centre of UAC. 

Without doubt, the 2009 airshow will be memorized for its flying program display. According to the flight plan, on August 18 visitors will be able to see the following aircraft – Il-96-400T, SSJ-100, An-148-100B, individual pilotage by Yak-130, group V-type formation by SSJ-100, Su-35, Su-30MKI, MiG-35 and MiG-29M with consequent break-up. For the first time pair pilotage elements will be demonstrated by MiG-29M and Su-30MKI. Later in the day An-148-100B, MiG-29M, SSJ-100 and Su-30MKI crews will demonstrate their flying techniques.

During the August 19 and 20 business days visitors will be able to see flights by Tu-334-100, Yak-130, SSJ-100, An-148-100B, Su-29KS, Su-30MKI, MiG-29M and MiG-29SMT. During the public days – August 21-23 – the flying display will include flights by a large number of aircraft and helicopters of the Russian Air Force, pilotage groups and individual manufacturers.

Static display of the airshow will include a number of UAC aircraft – the civil SSJ-100, Tu-204-300A, Il-96-400T, An-148-100B and Tu-334-100; the military MiG-35D, MiG-29K, MiG-29SMT, MiG-29M with thrust vectoring, Su-35, Su-32, Su-30MK2, Su-30MKI and Yak-130; and, the transport Il-76MD-90.

As during the last show in 2007, UAC and its daughterly companies will present a single exposition display. Mliltary aviation will be presented in the F1 pavilion, while the passenger and cargo aircraft will occupy the F2 pavilion. MS-21 mainline aircraft in a newly developed livery will be one of the key elements of the display in F2.

During the airshow UAC and its daughterly companies will sign a number of contracts and agreements on both military and civil aircraft. Several announcements in regard to perspective programs are being prepared. The MAKS press centre will host press-events held by UAC’s subsidiaries. In addition to that, a number of UAC programs will be presented in the conference hall inside the F2 pavilion – Tu-204SM, Il-112V, Il-76, MTA, An-124 and An-148T.

During the fourth day of the airshow, on August 21, a second conference on “Human Resources for the Aircraft Building Industry” will be held in Zhukovsky.
