OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2009. Eximbank – Gruppo Veneto Banca has reduced for the forth time during this year the annual interest rates paid on time-deposits attracted from individuals, reported the press-centre of Eximbank – Gruppo Veneto Banca.

The reduction of interest rates is determined both by the decreasing trend of interest rates, registered in the international and local markets (in general on base instruments of the National Bank of Moldova and states securities), and the evolution of monetary and macroeconomic indicators, including the rate of inflation.

Reducing the annual interest rates paid on attracted deposits is an integral part of measures undertaken by the Bank for optimization of the Bank’s costs and for improvement of its efficiency indicators.
