OREANDA-NEWS. August 21, 2009. Atomstroyexport CJSC is preparing an offer for the tender to build two nuclear reactors at Temelin Nuclear Power Plant (the Czech Republic). The tender was announced on Aug 3 2009. Atomstroyexport CJSC is planning to take part in the tender.

“In the last years our company has done big preparatory work and we will submit an offer meeting all criteria. Our offer implies maximum involvement of the Czech industry and active interaction with local contractors. This will ensure economic development of the region and the industry, as a whole, especially as we have long cooperated in the nuclear sector,” says First Vice President of Atomstroyexport CJSC Timur Ivanov.

Atomstroyexport has implemented lots of NPP construction projects abroad, particularly, turnkey projects implying the general contractor’s full responsibility for the quality of the construction. The company builds NPP on the basis of the prototype reactors of the third generation and applies modern solutions allowing to enhance the safety and efficiency of the plants.

Atomstroyexport gives high priority to its cooperation with Czech customers as it allows integrating the advanced Russian and European experience in the field of NPP construction. Presently, Atomstroyexport is providing engineering consultations at Temelin NPP in compliance with three contracts.
