LSC Marine Training Ltd. Moves to New Premises

OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 August 2009 was announced, that LSC Marine Training Ltd., the training centre of JSC Latvijas kugnieciba, had opened its new premises at Ganibu dambis 24D, 5th floor (the building with name „DAUGAVA”)

As of today LSC Marine Training offers professional training courses in repaired and comfortable premises. There are situated radiolocation, machine rooms, tanker simulators, computer room, two training rooms, library and administration. There is also a new addition – navigation simulator, visually and functionally resembling to the real equipment on the command deck.

For the visitors, there are car parking lots, free of charge, on both sides of the building. The entrance is from Saremas Street. LSC Marine Training Ltd. is easily accessible also by public transport – tram no.2 and buses no. 52 and 24. The closest public transport stop is Rankas iela.

The personnel of the training centre has new telephone numbers (Telia), however for a time being the former ones (Meridian) function as well.

The training ship „Kapella” is located in Andrejosta as before and will continue to work providing for technical support of seamen’s training.
