OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 August 2009 was announced, that in 2008, EuroChem donated 800,000 roubles to the Novomoskovsk orphanage (Tula Region) to build a new playground on the premises. Today, a festive event marked its opening. Using the latest equipment from Canada, the playground is an advanced facility that will enhance the children’s physical development and help them stay healthy.

As part of EuroChem’s eighth anniversary celebration, the beauty queens arrived in Novomoskovsk from a number of EuroChem locations. They spent some time with the children and brought them souvenirs from the Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories, the Leningrad and Murmansk Regions, Lithuania and Switzerland.

NAK Azot, a EuroChem company based in Novomoskovsk, has regularly assisted the orphanage in Novomskovsk (a state educational establishment in the Tula Region) as part of its charity program. For several years, this has been done in close cooperation with the Regional Administration. Only four year ago, the orphanage was in shambles, but now it is a spacious modern building, newly refurbished and complete with play rooms, cosy dormitories, and well-equipped rooms for medical care, massage, speech therapy, exercise therapy, club activities, as well as a ‘psychological relief’ room.
