OREANDA-NEWS. On August 24, 2009 Governmental experts explained inflation splash has arisen in July due to measures to provide internal demand in Azerbaijan.

A government expert says that the inflation splash during July is connected with two factors – inflowing the funds into the country’s economics and income of agrarian sector from realization of products.

"Nevertheless, year on year calculation inflation does not exceed 3.1% that is a normal level for the country’s economics against the background of stably internal demand,” expert said.

In July compared to  May inflation totaled 0.8% against 0.6% deflation in May compared to  April. Information about emission over 7 months was not announced, but over half year the Central bank issued in circulation AZN 8.3 bn, AZN 9.05 bn returned into the cashes of the bank, and AZN 699.8 million was directed into reserve fund.

"Inflation in the country is counted off in accordance with zonal principle, and price increase  in concrete region can "spoil" a general picture,” expert said.
