On 26 August 2009 was announced, that an agreement about durable cooperation was signed in June in Dubai (UAE) between MAF Hypermarkets LLC (JE MAJID AL FUTTAIM and Carrefour France) and by the group of companies "Modern-Expo", as a result of which "Modern-Expo" became the official supplier of the check-out counters for the network’s shops in 9 countries of the Middle-East – UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Syria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Bahrain.

Entering Middle-East market became possible for us due to opening of a representative office Modern-Expo Group in Dubai".

The nearest deliveries of the check-out counters are planned for the shops of "Carrefour-Express" format in September-October of this year. In addition, Hypermarket Carrefour will be equipped by Modern-Expo, which will be settled in Mirdiff City Center – large shopping center (general area – 533-552 thousand of m2) in a Mirdiff district, Dubai.
