OREANDA-NEWS. On 27 August 2009 was announced, that TMM-Energobud, one of the companies comprising TMM Group, is finishing the construction of a production facility for manufacturing high-pressure steam pipelines for thermal and nuclear power stations. The production facility, located in Malynyvka, Kharkiv region, is to be launched in autumn 2009. The total volume of investments into the project will amount to UAH 400 million. As of today UAH 300 million has been invested. In order to finish the construction TMM-Energobud has secured a 5-year UAH 90 million credit line in summer 2009.

The implemented technologies will allow using modern high-quality bendings instead of outdated forged elbows. This will also allow bending large diameter pipes with thick walls at any angle decreasing the number of welded joints by 20-25% and increasing the efficiency of power generating units and durability of the pipeline systems as a whole.

CJSC TMM-Energobud was set up by TMM Company in 2005 as part of its "closed scope" strategy in order to build power substations for autonomous electricity provision of buildings. TMM-Energobud performs construction-assembly works of thermal power stations, heating plants, distribution and transformer substations, wiring systems.
