OREANDA-NEWS. Estonian Air will increase the weekly frequencies between Tallinn and Vilnius to eight flights a week from 31 August 2009, by adding a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening flights, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

At present Estonian Air is operating between Tallinn and Vilnius five times a week on every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning.

“The route between Tallinn and Vilnius is used mainly by customers valuing the convenience and speed of direct flights. There is a clear demand for additional evening flights and we hope that the improved flight schedule will increase the number of customers on that route even more,” says Rauno Parras, Estonian Air’s acting Vice President Commercial.

Flights will be operated by 33-seater SAAB 340 aircraft with one on board service class. A light meal of sandwich and a soft drink is served. All flights with SAAB 340 are operated by Estonian Air Regional, a 100% owned subsidiary of Estonian Air.
