OREANDA-NEWS. The Exchange Council of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) removed Asia Broker Services (Almaty) beginning August 28, 2009 from KASE membership in categories "A", "K", "P" and "H". This means Asia Broker Services is no longer a KASE member and may not trade on KASE, reported the press-centre of KASE.

The decision was made according to sub-item 3) of item 37 of the KASE internal document "Regulations on Membership" since the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations on August 5, 2009 issued resolution No. 173 to deprive the company beginning August 7, 2009 of license for brokerage and dealer activity on securities market with right to maintain client accounts in capacity of nominal holder.
