OREANDA-NEWS. September 1, 2009. Russian pharmaceutical distributor Protek and Pharmacy Chain 36.6 have signed an amicable agreement on debt repayment of the drug chain’s subsidiary worth RUB 95 mn, the companies said in a joint press release. As of the end of August, the total debt of Pharmacy Chain 36.6 to Protek stood at around RUB 225 mn.

According to the agreement, the drugstore chain’s subsidiary Pharmacy Chain 36.6 Moscow undertakes to repay 50% of the RUB 95 mn debt to Protek by September 15, 2009 and the balance no later than October 15, 2009. The respective agreement should be approved by the Arbitration Court of Appeals #9 on September 1, according to the press release. In addition, Pharmacy Chain 36.6 is reportedly prepared to ensure debt repayment of its other subsidiaries to Protek, including Atoll-Pharm pharmacy warehouse.
