OREANDA-NEWS. September 1, 2009. Next 11th meeting of the Coordinating Group on Digital Broadcasting of the Regional Commonwealth in field  of communications  will take place in the capital of Kazakhstan – Astana in September 3-4, 2009.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information  Technologies reports that specialists of Teleradio and State Radio Frequency Administration of the ministry, who are the Azerbaijani representatives,  will take part in the meeting.

"Participants will consider a number of actual issues to introduce  the digital broadcasting in the countries of participants of RSS, will discuss the conducted work of the coordinating group in a current year, will exchange information on experience and plans of introduction of digital broadcasting  of standard  DVB-T in their countries,” it was informed.

Large attention will be also  focused on results of work  over Recommendation on coordination of new and modification of planned frequency appropriations/emissions of digital broadcasting in frequency bands 174-230 Mhz and 470-862 Mhz, approved by the Council of heads of AS RSS in May of this year.

The agenda of the meeting will also include discussion of other issues, including survey of introduction of perspective digital broadcasting technologies, information exchange on the results of conduction of tests of experienced areas of broadcasting, analysis of receive/transmit equipment and etc.
