OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 September 2009 was announced, that in August Sibirtelecom completed a project of transfer of some directory inquiries 061, 062 and 069 to the automated mode in Tomsk Region.

According to Aleksey Makhorin, Director of Tomsk Branch of Sibirtelecom OJSC, "We value every client, it is important for us that the client is satisfied with the cooperation with our company, so we pay great attention to the development of service backup and to greater availability of directory inquiries. We provide a new product to clients – electronic kiosk".

Electronic Kiosk is an automated directory inquiry managed with the help of a voice menu. Due to a two-level system of dial-up, one can get the required information within a short period of time. This technology makes it possible to not only automate servicing of telephone calls, but it provides the clients with a possibility to get information support 24 hours a day and very quickly.

Functions of Electronic Kiosk allow the customer to get answers to the majority of questions in the automated mode: to find out the balance of its account, information about tariff plans of the Company, to check technical feasibility of connecting state-of-the-art telecommunication services.

This scheme works with numbers 061, 062 and 069 of service departments of the Company. Due to the technology of Electronic Kiosk, the time for the transfer between specialists reduces as well as the time of expectation of the client on the line.
