OREANDA-NEWS. On 8 September 2009 was announced, that Federal Air Transport Agency had carried out an analysis and published Russian aviation companies rating according to flight regularity in the first half of 2009 .

According to the rating data UTair Aviation outruns its major competitors, Russia’s leading air carriers. It is worth mentioning that the result is achieved notwithstanding the fact that most of UTair flights are performed in regions with adverse weather conditions. UTair’s high rating assessment is a result of correct actions of departments and subdivisions of UTair in charge of passenger transportation and the measures taken by the Company to provide flights regularity. Such measures include significant investment into fleet modernization and aircraft continuing airworthiness as well as using modern technologies in operational processes (flight planning, fleet arrangement etc).

In spring-summer 2009 UTair regular flights connect 65 cities in Russia and abroad. The summer operational program includes over 100 aircraft of various types performing more than 200 flights each day. In accordance with UTair Business Plan the Company’s fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft are going to fly 238, 4 thousand hours. Passenger aircraft are to carry 3,8 million passengers.
