OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2009. VAB Bank completed restructuring of the branch network having reorganized all 25 branches into outlets. In the process of restructuring, clear business management and support verticals were set up, which allowed bank employees to focus primarily on the business development and client service, reported the press-centre of VAB Bank.

Eleven regional support centres were established throughout Ukraine to cover operational, legal and HR, IT support needs of the outlets, the number of which totals 150.

“Restructuring of VAB Bank regional network is a planned action initiated in early 2008 within the framework of the Bank’s management model change. As a result, the Bank shifted to a 2-tier system facilitating quick response to the market changes, releasing redundant reporting and control functions at a branch level as well as implementation of the process management. The abovementioned changes will contribute to the increase in client service quality and enable the Bank to mitigate the operating risks”  — noted Zhanna Makeyenko, First Deputy Chairman of VAB Bank.
