OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2009. From 07 September to 31 December 2009, OJSC North-West Telecom and Northwest Bank of Sberbank of Russia (OJSC) are conducting a joint action to enable legal entities obtaining a loan or opening an account with Sberbank to receive a certificate for getting connected to NWT’s communications services on special terms. The action covers St. Petersburg, the Leningrad, Kaliningrad , Murmansk, Novgorod and Pskov regions, and the Republic of Karelia.

The certificate received during the action will enable its holder to get the following services connected upon signing a 9-month fixed-term   contract at a special rate of 1 rouble:
Telephone communications services under AlliancePRO Standard and AlliancePRO Office packages (except E 1 PRI digital stream connections);
Internet access under AlliancePRO Standard and AlliancePRO Office packages;
“Serial   Number” services under AlliancePRO Office package .

The certificate may only be submitted to a North-West Telecom sales and service office operator by legal entities that are customers of Sberbank before the expiry of the validity date specified on the certificate.

If in the past NWT was primarily a client for Sberbank, and Sberbank in its turn was a customer for NWT, then now we are willing to act as partners to jointly implement mutually advantageous initiatives.

The decision of two major entities in Northwest Russia to run a joint action was taken as part of the Agreement signed on 1 September 2009 (see the Press Release dated 02.09.2009) aims at offering more opportunities for financial support and creation of favourable conditions for the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises, and also for joint promotion of telecommunications services and debt financing services.
