OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2009. Belarus’ imports of soft drinks and mineral water decreased year-on-year in January-July 2009, according to the State Customs Committee.

Imports of soft drinks, including mineral water, still or aerated, with sugar or sweeteners were at 3.768 million decaliters in the period, down 47.6% on the year, worth USD 25.994 million, down 37.2%.

Belarus imported 2.917 million decaliters of drinks of this type from Russia, down 32.8%, worth USD 20.145 million, a decrease of 18.4%.

Imports from Ukraine were at 804,000 decaliters, down 3.4 times, worth USD 4.995 million, down 3.1 times.

Imports of water, including natural or artificial mineral water, still or aerated, without sugar or sweeteners were at 427,869 decaliters, down 11.7% on the year in January-July 2009, worth USD 1.783 million, down 4.5% year-on-year.
