OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2009. To date vehicles bearing the trademark of KAMAZ are dominating in the vehicle fleet and on the truck market of Turkmenistan. As is reported by the official governmental web-site www.turkmenistan.gov.tm, they are used almost in all economic sectors, in big cities and remote villages. And the country’s demand for this equipment is growing due to new large-scale projects.

Constructed by Turkmen builders according to KAMAZ order, the educational and service center is located in a modern industrial zone of the capital. It is furnished with state-of-the-art equipment and meant for all-inclusive service of 1000 vehicles a year.

New KAMAZ equipment for Turkmenistan is delivered to the service center where it receives presales services and then it is purchased by customers in the required packaging. In addition, the center provides backup and after-sales services for vehicles.

Since 2006 almost 3800 units of KAMAZ equipment have been delivered to Turkmenistan (70 models and modifications). These are dumpers of various payload, buses, truck cranes, cement trucks, mixers, water carriers, municipal vehicles, fire equipment, etc. In 2009 over 700 new KAMAZ vehicles received presales services in the center. Contracts for delivery of 1440 vehicles more are currently being made.

Most of the employees of the service center are Turkmen people who have been trained under the guidance of KAMAZ specialists. Besides Ashgabat, service centers work in other regions of the country. The main task of the center in Balkanabat is to receive and transport new vehicles to the capital, as well as to provide service for a large amount of equipment.
