OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2009. The Exhibition was attended by over 220 companies from 59 cities of Russia and 11 countries. More than 8 thousand guests visited the exhibition stands during the period of three days, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The last day of the Exhibition completed with the awarding ceremony and presentation of diplomas. The Company was awarded a Diploma "For the Best Expression of the Corporate Style". Also, TATNEFT was awarded the diploma "For Contribution into the Development of Crude Oil Production and Crude Oil Refining Industry Branches".

Concurrently, a specialized exhibition "Industrial Safety and Ecology" was held in the pavilions of the Exhibition Centre, where TATNEFT was awarded the Diploma "For High Standards of Environmental Safety at the Production Facilities".

In addition "The Best Exhibit" contest was arranged in the framework of the "Oil & Gas. Petrochemicals" Exhibition.

TatNIPIneft R&D Institute won the Grand Prix in the category "Improved Oil Recovery" for the development of the technology for recovering high-viscosity oil and natural bitumen. The scientists of the Institute received the I-st degree Diploma in the same category for the development of the technology for microbial formation stimulation through the flooding process with application of fresh and brine waters. TatNIPIneft R&D Institute was also presented the II-nd degree Diploma in the category "Energy Saving Technologies and Equipment" for the development of the crude oil desalting technology with application of intensifying components.

The Bugulma Mechanical Plant won two awards. The Plant was awarded the I-st degree Diploma in the category "Innovative Environmentally Sound Technologies" for the development of the technology for corrosion protection of drill pipes and tubing, and it was awarded the III-rd degree Diploma in the nomination "Products with New or Improved Characteristics" for the development and introduction of a high-temperature filter Du-350, Ru-4,0 as well as an air-cooling device AVG-BM.

Tatneft-Truboprovodservis Management Company received the 1-st degree Diploma of in the category "Equipment and Technologies of Safe Disposal and Recycling of Oil/Gas Production and Petrochemical Industry Wastes, Including Generation Secondary Resources or Materials" for the introduction of the technology of internal polymer coating of pipes and components.
