OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2009. The Caspian Oil & Gas Exchange (www.oil-exchange.com) – an interactive online portal on fuel & energy complex of the Caspian region is to open in Baku on 20 September 2009, in the day of 15-year anniversary of the Contract of the Century.

COGE was organized with the support of Caspian-European Integration Business Club (CEIBC) and the Exchange’s general information partner contractor is international media group Caspian Energy.

“The project will be commissioned in test regime on 20 September at 8.09 pm on Baku time, i.e. we decided to use this marketing move, certain magic of digits as it is quite popular now in different industries of business sector,” CEIBC president and CEO Telman Aliyev said.

Thus, according to the CEIBC president, “in weekend when preparing for a new workweek businessmen can enter from their mobile phones, personal pocket computers and notebooks to this portal and familiarize themselves with Exchange’s activity and make a decision relating to participation in a project or purchase of space in our trading”.

The Exchange is today a virtual exchange for all kinds of bids and exchange of information to offer catalogue of all oil and gas service companies operating in the Caspian region. All companies to want to appear at the market will be able to enjoy services of this exchange. Its advantage is a possibility for subscribers to familiarize themselves with data about tenders to be announced in Caspian region’s countries by both state and private organizations and companies. The Exchange will also be placed information about products, raw materials, and services offered by oil and gas sector companies or for companies for oil and gas sector.

The Exchange’s major goal is to create working functional instrument to be able to promote to efficient and high-quality exchange of data between companies, foster their dialogue, encourage their opportunities on co-operation and certainly for successful sale of products and services rendered to oil and gas companies.
