OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2009. An official opening of the first gas filling station under the new brand of Gazprom Neft was held in Omsk. The event marks the launch of a benchmark setting project on establishing a unified network of Gazprom Neft gas filling stations. 230 gas filling complexes are scheduled to be brought in line with the new corporate style by year end 2009.

Currently Gazprom Neft operates several networks of filling station under different brands. A scale project of establishing a unified network of filling stations under the brand of Gazprom Neft involves modernization of over 1000 filling stations in 14 territorial subjects of the Russian Federation within 2009 – 2011. It is anticipated that the investments into the complex filling stations rebranding program will make about RUR 7 bln. within the next three years. As the practice shows, after the brand changeover volume of sales at the filling stations boosts by 15-20 per cent.

Gazprom Neft’s gas filling stations keep to Gazprom’s color style. A Gazprom Neft branded filling station can be distinguished by its original design represented by a dynamic graphical pattern, rounded stela and frieze shapes reminding of the well-known Gazprom’s “lighter” silhouette.

The launch of the project was preceded by a complex of preliminary works including unification of management and organizational principles at all territorial sales outlets of Gazprom Neft. There are several standard design formats developed for Gazprom Neft branded filling stations in accordance with the size and functional interpretation of the outlet. The filling stations under the brand of Gazprom Neft will feature a sufficiently extended set of additional services and a system of nationwide client loyalty programs.
