OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2009. The Kirov Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (the Kirov OFAS Russia) fined "LUKOIL-Perm'nefteproduct" Ltd. 13'414'151 Rubles under Article 14.31 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Violations. It is 1% of the proceeds gained by the violator form selling the goods on the market where the violation was committed, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 10th June 2009, the Kirov OFAS Russia found that "LUKOIL-Perm'nefteproduct" Ltd., which has dominant position on retail markets of motor fuel in Kirov, violated Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition" by fixing and maintaining economically and technologically unjustified high prices for petrol in November 2008 - February 2009.

Article 14.31 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Violations provides for liability of legal persons -from one hundredth to fifteen hundredths of the proceeds gained by the violator from selling goods (works, services) on the market where the violation was committed and no less than 100,000 Rubles, and if the sum of proceeds gained by the violator from selling goods (works, services) on the market where the administrative violation was committed exceeds превышает 75% of the total proceeds gained by the violator from selling all goods (works, services) - from three thousands to three hundredth of the proceeds gained by the violator from selling goods (works, services) on the market where the violation was committed and no less than 100,000 Rubles.
